I am looking for something to cover those fans/ ventilators on the roof of a house and don’t know what they are called or where to purchase such a thing.

I don’t think that it is a good idea to cover them because they bring ventilation in the roof and you need them either in the winter or in the summer. They are called vents

Attic fans.
Why would you want to cover them? The attic needs ventilation. They improve your home’s energy efficiency during summer.

Turbines are the word, and you don’t cover the new ones. It will ruin your roof and give you mold and god knows what else. You need 50/50 airflow between intake and exhaust going through your attic.

I believe they are called turbines. I know there is another name, just can’t remember it. It is okay to cover them in the winter. You lose heat in the attic if you do not. Remove the covers in the early spring. Also be sure to inspect for clogged vents. They are wonderful and certainly cheaper than a high dollar air conditioner.
